MY STYLE
To me wedding photography should do one thing in particular: Remind you the best day of your life by making you feel the same way.
This is why I start very early to create a whole, coherent story of the day. I capture unique moments that speak emotion, atmosphere and genuine happiness.
My wedding coverage starts early in the morning. I start taking pictures from wedding preparations until well after the reception capturing beautiful moments. I edit every single photograph myself to make sure that they are all part of a set and look as beautiful as possible.
I use multiple cameras at weddings. This allows me to use the right lens for the right picture without wasting time. It also guaranties that I have backup if necessary.
MY VISION
Before I accept couples I insist that we meet in person to get to know each other, have some nice coffee, talk about your wedding day and expectations. Only after we reach an agreement and understand each other we book the wedding. (Note that I do not accept clients who refuse to meet in person beforehand.)
About a week (or two) prior to the wedding day, I ask my clients to meet one more time to visit the wedding revenue together. Be it a Church or Standesamt, a restaurant or reception hall. This is particularly important because together we talk in detail about your wedding plans. The more I know about your wedding plans the the better. We also look for nice locations for our portrait session and possible pictures we can make. Knowing what to do and when to do it will save us plenty of time during the big day because finding out a beautiful spot at the very last second but not having time to take pictures with my couple is not ideal especially when 50+ guests are waiting for us.
